Guy van der Meulen

Guy van der Meulen is a senior Country Analyst with over 25 years’ experience in geopolitics, international economics, and international business relations. He holds a postmasters degree in International Relations and Business Management, combining analytical depth with a hands‑on advisory approach for governments and international organisations.

His earlier roles include serving as Director of Foreign Relations for the Government of Sint Maarten during a key state‑building phase. He also directed and restructured the Amsterdam School of International Relations, and managed European Commission consultancies across Asia and Latin America.

Guy is known for integrity, a sense of wit, loyalty alongside structured analysis and calm leadership under pressure. He works fluently across cultures in Dutch, Spanish, English, French, and German.

Bert Balke

Bert Balke has financial markets experience spanning three decades. He has been helping to develop the analytical framework in an investment research firm, with the purpose to achieve consistency in investment choices across the spectrum of equity and fixed income investments. In earlier roles he has gained hands-on experience in a trading environment, including as risk manager and as structurer of innovative financial products.

Bert enjoys working within an international setting and benefits from having access to diverse perspectives. He holds a degree in financial macroeconomics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a degree from the Institut für Weltwirtschaft in Kiel, Germany.

Frederic Yeterian

Frederic is a senior energy and corporate finance adviser with more than two decades of experience across transactions, operations and strategic development in both public and private markets. His work spans energy, infrastructure, property and financial services, with a consistent focus on growth, operational performance and long-term value creation.

He leads Philax International, advising investors, developers and fund managers on partnerships, acquisitions and transition strategies, while also serving as Senior Strategy and Acquisition Adviser at HCR.

Frederic is particularly experienced in organisational transformation, sustainable strategic alliances and commercial optimisation in rapidly evolving markets. Known for his clear judgement, pragmatic approach and understated sense of humour, he combines commercial insight with capital and private markets expertise in support of international businesses.

Nico Laan

Nico Laan is a senior programmer with more than 30 years of experience in software development, database architecture, and IT management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and is recognised for his reliability, intellectual curiosity, and hands‑on mentality. Nico brings a calm, didactic approach to understanding customer concerns, translating complex issues into clear solutions, and ensuring users feel supported and informed. His flexibility and steady judgement make him a trusted point of reference in demanding environments.

For over two decades, he has been a key architect behind a professional digital investment environment used by private clients, institutional investors, and in‑house analysts.
